New chip in container
“Mini container” is the official term for a waste container with two wheels. Kliko is a brand name that can only be used for mini containers produced by Kliko. Mini containers exist in different sizes. Cure Waste management uses two sizes of mini containers: 140 liters and 240 liters.
Putting a chip in all containers makes it possible to maintain a 100% complete administration. We can quickly process the spread and replacement of containers. We can track containers that have been stolen or taken by residents. We can prevent containers being offered more often than allowed. Cure Waste management can align the routes with the way containers are offered. It becomes easier to manage containers and solve possible issues. The chip is connected to an address (object data), not to a person (name). The data is only used internally and not accessible to the public. The data is used in accordance with the Personal Data Registration Act.
Each low-rise address in Eindhoven is obliged to have a grey container for residual waste and a green container for organic waste. The blue container for paper waste is not mandatory. If you don’t have one, you are obliged to separate your paper waste from residual waste. You cannot put paper waste in the grey or green container. You can no longer place paper waste by the street in boxes. If you do not want a blue container, you must dispose of your paper yourself by bringing it to a collective container or a waste recycling point.
Go to eindhoven.mijncontainer.nl and indicate your choice.
This can be done at eindhoven.mijncontainer.nl. Please note: extra containers bring extra costs. An extra grey 140L container costs an extra €120,00 a year. An extra grey 240L container costs an extra €140,00 a year.
You can do this for about 2 weeks after receiving the letter about the new chips.
The extra containers will be emptied one more time. After, they will be blacklisted because of the old chip. Then, they will no longer be emptied.
Yes, the regular costs. There are no extra service number costs.

While we are adding new chips, it is possible to request another container size if this is absolutely necessary. Do this through Cure customer service.
Every household pays a yearly waste tax. We collect your waste against this fee. This fee contains a base set of containers: One free grey container maximum, two green containers maximum and two blue paper waste containers maximum. The executive order in 2021 decided a second grey container now has an extra charge. This starts in 2024. You’ll receive the first bill in 2025.
You’re charged extra for the container purchase, emptying the container, transport and personnel costs and the processing costs of your residual waste.
You can voice your complaint by writing to the Cure Waste management customer service.
This isn’t a problem, the containers don’t have to be empty.
The second letter you’ll receive will tell you when we’re collecting the containers. You’ll place the sticker you received on the containers we’re collecting. This way, we’ll recognize the right containers.
You’ll find this in the second letter you received.
No, it’s a phased process. The phases are connected to the planned waste collection routes.
You’ll find a new sticker (10 x 15 cm) on the backside of the container with the Cure Waste Management logo and a bar code.
The old containers are collected and recycled to new containers.
You’ll receive a letter with the exact date.
No, the paper container already has a new chip.
Yes, it’s up to you which size you’ll keep. You can indicate this at Eindhoven.mijncontainer.nl
No, you do not pay every time you present your container. You’ll still pay a fixed waste tax per year.
