New residents of an existing or new home can request a municipal card for free within 6 weeks after registering. You can do this with our customer service. You do need to be officially registered to the address. After 6 weeks you'll pay €15 for the municipal card.
No, you cannot take waste from the waste recycling points home.
You can bring up to 35 m² to the waste recycling points. To do this, you'll have to contact the Cure customer service at least one day in advance. Call 040-2500 130 to report the asbestos.
Asbestos requires double packaging in a thick, plastic foil (at least 2mm thick, available at the construction store). The creases need to be carefully folded and taped shut. Asbestos that isn't (properly) packed will NOT be accepted. It is not allowed to pack asbestos at one of the waste recycling points.
Residents of Geldrop, Mierlo and Heeze-Leende can use the following waste recycling point upon presentation of their municipality/environmental card and valid ID: Waste recycling point Industrieweg, Industriepark 8 (5663 PG, Geldrop).
Only residents of Geldrop-Mierlo can use the waste recycling points. Camping visitors cannot bring their waste here.
To enter the waste recycling point, you need valid ID. Make sure you always have your municipal card (waste recycling point card for residents of Heeze-Leende) and your ID. Without these cards, you will not gain access to the waste recycling point.
A waste recycling point is a collection point to bring bulky waste. This means bulky waste, great amounts of waste (like gardening waste), or waste from consumer goods like fridges and household appliances.
